Lubrication Technology - Basic Live Training - Date on request
Training objective
This training deals with the importance of lubricants (oils and greases) in rolling bearings. What is the task of lubricants in rolling bearings, what lubrication conditions occur during operation, what influence does viscosity have on friction, how are lubricants structured and what basic properties are derived from this, what is behind the designations according to DIN 51502 and 51825, what rough criteria are important when selecting a lubricant, how do you calculate the grease operating life and the relubrication interval, what must be taken into account when handling greases and how do I interpret technical data sheets and safety data sheets. In addition to the trainer's explanations, the training participant has the opportunity to solve practice-oriented tasks independently or with trainer support. At the end of the training, you will know what different components lubricants are made of, what different types of grease there are, what basic properties can be derived from them and how to handle lubricants and their data.
