Training objective
In this training course, participants acquire in-depth knowledge of the mounting and dismounting of large size bearings. Practical exercises allow them to apply their knowledge and gain experience with deep groove ball bearings, cylindrical roller bearings, spherical roller bearings and tapered roller bearings.

Structuring of processes and assembly stations
Mounting/dismounting methods: mechanical, hydraulic, thermal
Mounting/dismounting of tapered and cylindrical rolling bearings
Practical assembly and disassembly on the training applications
Mounting of large size bearings - gearboxes
Mounting of spherical roller bearings in a housing with adapter sleeve
Mounting of split spherical roller bearings with split housing as a unit
Mounting of cylindrical roller bearings
Mounting of double row tapered roller bearings in X arrangement

This course is designed for industry professionals who want to gain a comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in handling large diameter bearings. Participants are required to wear safety shoes during the course. These will not be provided, so please bring your own. Otherwise, for safety reasons, attendance is not possible. The course can also be booked as a group course.
